CVE-2024-1789

CVECVE-2024-1789
CVE Title
Published Date2024-04-26T09:15Z
Modified Date2024-04-26T12:58Z
DescriptionThe WP SMTP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'search' parameter in versions 1.2 to 1.2.6 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
