CVE Title
Published Date2023-03-17T14:15Z
Modified Date2023-03-23T14:59Z
CWE TypeCWE-89
DescriptionThe WP Popup Banners plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'banner_id' parameter in versions up to, and including, 1.2.5 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with minimal permissions, such as a subscrber, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
